Pricing
Horizons Bookshops aims to reflect the most accurate information on book prices at all times. We supply items at the publisher's recommended price except where a specific discount is offered. We will make all reasonable efforts to present accurate information but we cannot guarantee the price or our ability to supply any particular book.
Contract
When you place an order to purchase a product from Horizons Bookshops, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we have despatched that product to you (the "Despatch Confirmation E-mail"). That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Despatch Confirmation E-mail to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Despatch Confirmation E-mail to have been despatched do not form part of that contract.
Privacy
Horizons Bookshops recognises the concern of our customers regarding privacy of information. All information you give to Horizons Bookshops is stored securely, and is not accessible to other users. Rest assured that any information you give to Horizons Bookshops will not be distributed to any other company outside of Horizons Bookshops, unless you give us your express consent. We are committed to protecting your privacy
Security
Horizons Bookshops uses industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to ensure the highest security for credit card and personal details submitted to us over the Internet.
Refunds and Returns
Horizons Bookshops operates a 'no questions asked' returns policy in accordance with the UK Distance Selling Regulations if you return your book within 7 working days of receiving delivery of your order. Please note that any postage costs incurred when returning your books during this period will be at your own cost, unless the book is damaged, or was sent in error. Please follow the return directions below.
This policy does not extend to any perishable items, sealed audio, video recordings or computer software (which have been unsealed), which are subject to our standard returns policy (see below).
If you placed your order in one of our bookshops and prepaid for your item, please contact the bookshop to obtain a refund or to return a book.
If you believe that your item has been lost in transit or has not been delivered for any reason, you must contact us within 30 days of the 'Ship date' of your item, which is displayed in 'Your orders', so that we can investigate. We regret that we are unable to accept claims for lost items that are reported more than 30 days after the 'Ship Date'.
Standard Returns Policy
After the 'no questions asked' 7 day period we will be more than happy to accept books for return in any of the following cases:
The book was found to be damaged or faulty. We will either replace the book or give you a full refund (including postage costs). Please state which option you would prefer. If you require a replacement, we will wait to receive the faulty copy from you before despatching a new one.
The book was incorrectly supplied. If we have made a mistake in fulfilling your order, a full refund (including postage costs) will of course be given.
Books supplied to customers should be returned in their original packaging to:

Provided the conditions above are met Horizons Bookshops will refund the cost of all such returns provided the books are returned to us by the most economical method. The books remain your property until we have received them.
Returns are accepted at the discretion of Horizons Bookshops . Refunds will be given in the same tender type as the original payment.
Please allow 14 days (in addition to the delivery time) for the return to be processed.
Jurisdiction
This website is not directed to any person in any jurisdiction whether the publication or availability of the website, or the promotions or offers, is prohibited and persons to whom such prohibitions apply must not use the website.
